Shri S. K. alias Rajabhau Joshi Blood Component Laboratory of Janakalyan Blood Bank, Pune. Mr. Arun Joshi, USA through the Joshi Foundation handsomely donated Rupees 10 lacks in the year 2000 for establishing a modern Blood Component Laboratory in a spacious premise located on the third floor of the new building of Janakalyan Blood Bank, Pune. Yearly, out of total collection of 10,000 units, approximately 60% is separated into various blood components and catered to around 400 hospitals in & around Pune region. This laboratory has helped us tremendously in rationalizing the scare blood supply of the Pune city.
